consulting / moodle

Moodle: knowledge that clicks.

Moodle courses and e-assessments that convey your content in a structured way and test it reliably – whether staff training, annual mandatory briefings or university teaching. My experience comes from an asynchronous online course of my own, which I have taught since 2020 – around 4,500 candidates in the past six semesters alone, both online and as an e-assessment in the lecture hall. The principles behind it carry over to workplace training.

Typical requests

For Moodle I do not offer an off-the-shelf course but workshops and consulting – tailored to your Moodle instance, your content and your audience. It is usually one of these:

  • Moving a classroom course into an asynchronous online format that holds up.
  • Mandatory and staff training: set it up asynchronously once, then repeat it year after year without further effort.
  • Building and randomising question pools, so that not everyone gets the same task in the same order. The subject matter comes from you – I take care of construction, structure and analysability.
  • Recording and embedding teaching videos. I support you through production, or step in front of the camera myself if you send me a script.
  • Introducing e-assessments: from writing the questions through trial runs to the day of the exam – online or as an e-assessment in the lecture hall.
  • A second opinion on teaching design: my perspective is that of a psychologist with lecturing experience, not that of a trained educationalist. We go through together how to enrich your lessons and improve the user experience of your course.
