How an enquiry works

  • You tell me informally what you need.
  • I come back with questions, or straight away with an outline of formats, content and prices as a PDF.
  • We agree content and dates by phone – after that you receive a binding quote.

faq

Questions people ask before enquiring

A lot can be settled in advance. Detailed answers about procedure, formats and content are on the service pages – most fully under LimeSurvey training, my most frequently booked service.

What does a training course cost?

After your enquiry you will normally receive, within one or two working days, an outline with non-binding prices for the usual formats and topics. For standard cases the price is settled at that point – one day of LimeSurvey for around six people, for instance. Everything else we clarify in a short phone call; ten minutes are usually enough to fix the duration and the choice of topics. From that I make you a concrete quote. For larger groups the price is somewhat higher, because facilitation has to be prepared more rigorously than for small ones.

Do you also train public authorities and other public-sector organisations?

Yes, regularly – from federal and state authorities to city administrations. LimeSurvey is popular there precisely because surveys and data collection run on the organisation’s own server in line with data protection law. The administrative side is well practised: I invoice via XRechnung, sign confidentiality agreements and know the procurement routes at universities. If your data protection officers also want a data processing agreement, we settle that before the course.

How quickly can you offer a date?

It varies: sometimes the next day works, sometimes I need a few weeks. Do ask about short-notice dates – a week’s notice is welcome but not a requirement.

Do you also teach in English?

Yes. German is the default; in English by arrangement – I have worked in an English-speaking team for over two years. For LimeSurvey courses this is straightforward; for other topics we plan a little more lead time.
